Choose your layout6 templates

  • Mid-career, made redundant (office and coordination roles)Word fileYou have 5-20 years in one field, your role was disestablished, and you need a clean two-page CV that handles it calmly.→
  • Trades and hands-on workWord fileYou are a builder, electrician, driver, machine operator or similar, where tickets and licences matter as much as the job titles.→
  • Hospitality, retail and customer serviceWord fileYour experience is on the floor with customers: cafés, restaurants, shops, call centres, front desk.→
  • Changing careers (skills first)Word fileYou want to move into a different field and your job titles do not obviously match. A skills-led layout makes your strengths easier to see.→
  • First job or school leaverYou are leaving school or starting out and have little or no paid work. Education, part-time work and activities do the talking.→
  • New to New Zealand or returning from overseasYour work history is mostly overseas, or you are on a visa. This layout explains your experience and your right to work in NZ clearly.→
